Feel the sea breeze swish across your face, as you gaze upon the horizon from the exquisite surf and yoga retreat at Insight Resort, Ahangama. The tranquil beach, well-tended lawns and the soft breaking of waves create an exceedingly welcoming atmosphere for the physical, mental and spiritual masterpiece hailing from India - Yoga.

You will be guided by our experienced in-house Yoga master.
Situated in Ahangama, a village in the south of Sri Lanka and famous for its small fishing community who practices fishing on stilts, the Yoga Shala at Insight Resort is located overlooking the sea just 30 meters from the beach and it is a fully enclosed air-conditioned Shala. The smiling and friendly team at Insight Resort extend friendly and warm service round the clock

Insight also offers you a compact spa namely Spa Serine (at own cost), Surfing at the Marshmallow Point (at own cost) and most of all, a tranquil ambiance for Yoga.

Daily Program

2 daily yoga sessions are included. Max 12 participants for each yoga session.

Hatha between 06:30 - 07:30
Hatha yoga is a comprehensive yoga practice that combines physical postures and breath control to promote physical and mental well-being. The primary goal of Hatha yoga is to achieve harmony and balance in the mind, body, and spirit.

Vinyasa between 08:00 - 09:00
Vinyasa yoga is a style of yoga that emphasizes the connection between movement and breath, with a focus on flowing sequences of poses. It can be a great way to build strength, flexibility, and endurance, as well as to improve balance and coordination..

Meditation Session between 16:00 - 17:00

Yin between 17:30 - 18:30
Yin yoga is a style of yoga that involves long-held, passive poses targeting the deep connective tissues of the body, such as the ligaments, fascia, and joint. It can help improve range of motion in joints, soften muscles, and release deep layers of connective tissue, ultimately enhancing overall flexibility and promoting relaxation.

Insight also offers herbal drinks in the garden from 17:30 until 18:30. Unwind and relax on the lawn while tranquil music plays in the background.

Accommodation is Deluxe Sea View Room with Balcony. You can choose between Single, Double or Triple room.
