This eight-day adventure does one thing very, very well: Kruger National Park. Starting in Johannesburg, get a taste of the region with a mouth-watering welcome braai before setting out for the Greater Kruger Area. Got your camera ready? Good. Because your next few days will (hopefully) feature a healthy dose of elephants, lions, and giraffes on the savanna, as well as chimpanzees at the Jane Goodall Institute's Chimp Eden. This tour is Kruger National Park done to perfection.
Itinerary

Kruger in Depth

Day 1 - Johannesburg

Arrive at any time. Enjoy an included Braai to get our first taste of South African fare.

Day 2 - Johannesburg/Greater Kruger Area

Depart Johannesburg early to get a jump start on our long drive. Arrive late afternoon in time to freshen up for dinner. An included lunch en route breaks up the drive. A long drive today means wildlife first thing tomorrow.

Day 3 - Greater Kruger Area

Up bright and early for an included bushwalk, take this opportunity to stretch your legs after yesterdays drive and to get up close and personal with the nature around you. Enjoy a picnic lunch after the walk and an afternoon rest back at camp. The afternoon includes a Safari drive to see the wildlife in the area.

Day 4 - Kruger National Park Area

Enjoy an early start this morning to enter the park and enjoy the full-day safari drive through the park in our touring vehicle in search of the Big Five. Spend the day in Kruger National Park in search of the Big Five. After an exciting day of safari, arrive late afternoon to your lodge and enjoy some local fare at dinner.

Day 5 - Kruger National Park Area

Another full day in Kruger awaits. Hop into a 4x4, because the wildlife safari drive is in a smaller vehicle today, offering a fresh perspective of the scenery and animals around you. Finish the day with a delicious dinner with your fellow travelers. Every day of safari is different, and it's the promise of the unknown that keeps every day so exciting.

Day 6 - Kruger National Park Area

Today is a day at leisure. Choose to do another morning or afternoon safari drive or instead flex your photography muscles and join a tour of the Panorama Route. With lots to see and do, there is something for everyone to choose from. Opt for another full day in Kruger, or a half day perhaps if some relaxing is in order. Or visit the iconic Panorama Route during an optional full day tour.

Day 7 - Kruger/Johannesburg

Conservation plays a big role in Kruger and the surrounding areas. Broaden your knowledge about conservation when you visit Jane Goodall foundation's Chimp Eden this afternoon en route to Johannesburg. Jane Goodall's Chimp Eden tour is the perfect way to capstone an epic safari in South Africa. Enjoy the remainder of the scenic drive back to Jozie, and arrive to the lodge early afternoon. Opt to join your CEO for a farewell dinner.

Day 8 - Johannesburg

Depart at any time.
